Andrew Millard

CEO

Andrew has been involved in merchant banking in South Africa since 1989. He worked in Treasury, structured finance and corporate finance at Standard Bank from 1989 to 1999, before joining Imperial Bank where he served as Head of Specialised Finance and Treasury from 1999 to 2005.Andrew read economics and English at the University of South Africa and business administration at the University of the Witwatersrand. He is a Fellow of the SA Institute of Financial Markets and an Associate of the Institute of Bankers in South Africa.

Thomas Meyer

Investment Banking & Infrastructure Finance

Thomas has been involved in merchant banking since 2000. Prior to joining Via Capital, he was in charge of Investment Banking and Infrastructure Finance at Imperial Bank. Thomas started his career in 1991, initially with small to medium size auditing firms.Thomas studied commerce and law at the University of South Africa and holds a PgDip (Finance, Banking and Investment Management) from the University of Natal and an MSc (Finance & Banking) from the University of Lausanne, Switzerland. He is a member of the SA Institute of Chartered Accountants, the SA Institute of Financial Markets and an Advocate of the High Court of South Africa.
